- Check whether the internal chassis (supporting frame) bars are horizontal & vertical and parallel to each other’s. Also check if these bars are fixed rigidly.
- Check if all components are mounted straight and neat.
- Check if all copper connections on breakers and other components are straight and parallel.
- Check if the main bus bar is mounted straight and neat and if the bars are straight and parallel.
- Check if cabling (power and control) is correct and neat.
- Make sure that the panel is clean and that all pencil marking is removed.
- Make sure that door closes well, and that door cutting is correct.
Quality Control
All Switchboards and Control panels manufactured at SETRAA AL-AMAL MANUFACTURING CO. undergo a systematic process of inspection at each stage of their production. Starting from receiving material, quality inspection, Testing and commissioning. Our Quality Control team will ensure that the finished products will satisfy our customer.
- Check conformity of the panel with the attached drawings
- Check the conformity of the panel with the attached quantities
- Check the conformity of the copper with the attached specifications
- Check if Cu drillings are correct compared to standard IEC recommendations
- Check if all terminals are labelled
- Check if each component in the panel is labelled
- Check if the name of the panel is present on the external side of the door
- Check if the panel reference is present on the internal side of the enclosure (Complete Panel Details)
- Check if all screws and nuts on bars (rigid and flexible) are marked with red colour
- Check that all screws and nuts on power cables are marked with red colour, and tighten again all screws that can’t be marked
- Check that all control wire connections are tightened, by pulling on each wire
- Apply 2500V to the power circuit for 2 minutes
- Apply nominal voltage to the panel and check the output of each component (breakers and contactors)
- Operate all breakers, contactors & control devices 5 times successively
- Operate control circuit as per the logic in the control diagram
